HP-UX System and Network Administration I     

Length: 4 Days                   

Prerequisite: HP-UX Fundamentals or similar Unix fundamentals course.
It is assumed that the student has an understanding of UNIX.  The student must be familiar with basic UNIX commands, and the vi editor. A fundamentals Unix course is recommended.

Course Description: The operating system will be HP-UX 11i - HP's UNIX operating system. The course is taught on an HP-UX 11i system.

This course teaches basic topics in HP-UX system administration.  The operating system will be HP-UX 11.0- HP's UNIX operating system. The course is taught on an HP-UX 11.0 standalone server. The objective is to prepare the student for a position as an HP-UX System Administrator in a server or workstation environment.
